This weekend has been 28 degrees on Saturday and 31 degrees today! It really feels like Summer and i would currently be lying on the beach soaking up the sun or in my pool outside if I didn't have this English assignment due Monday.

net-a-porter launches it's first ad campaign

Net-a-Porter.com has launched it's first print and online advertisement campaign for its Autumn/Winter season selection. The series of photos include entitled faces of fashion like super-blogger Hanneli Mustaparta,  fashion editor Shala Monroque, writer Ann Dexter-Jones, and it-girl Atlanta de Cadenet, each face representing a different style or look. leighton meester: head to toe mcqueen

I love Leighton's ability to turn her fashion hand to styling the latest trends, and I'd kill for her wardrobe!

She looked gorgeous in head-to-toe Alexander McQueen, wearing the white long-sleeved Broiderie Anglaise shirt and skirt from the Alexander McQueen Resort 2012 Collection. 

And did she stop there with the McQueen? Nope. The combination was adorned with a Cigar brown belt to cinch in the waist, Bone & Cigar gold accented white box clutch and Ocelot print curved heels, both by McQueen.

8th September, 2011 - Today is the official kickoff of New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 11/12! For all those wondering, NYFW is from the 8th-15th September. I know so many of my favourite bloggers who are in NYC right now for fashion week, and i'd just like to wish them all an amazing time, and I wish I could be there!

So Fashion Week traditionally begins with NYC then the list goes like this: London, Milan, Paris, Los Angeles, Japan.

Can't wait to waste countless hours on the internet and reading magazines keeping up with all of it!

Tonight is also the 3rd annual Vogue Fashion's Night Out, which is a worldwide after-hours shopping extravaganza, where shoppers can snap up amazing buys in tonnes of retail shops in the heart of their city. It lists the shops that are taking part in your city on the website, http://fashionsnightout.vogue.com.au/. But unfortunately i can't go this year because of other committments :( There's always next year!

It's the Peter Pan collar. They've been popping up everywhere for a while now, and the best thing is that they can be worn as bold or as subtle as you like. For some, wearing the detachable collar is as simple as layering it over an existing shirt for an unexpected contrast of colour and fabric. Others wear it like a  necklace buttoned up over a tank with a blazer thrown on top. Or of course, it may just come sewn onto the shirt you buy. I love how they give every outfit a clean, polished look. http://www.asos.com/ has gone absolutely insane for this trend, too!

I got inspired by this tumblr - POSITIVITY to do this colour post. She started posting on tumblr in colour co-ordination a couple of months ago and I think it is extremely pleasing to the eye, however I don't think I would be able to do it!
